MSA Little Cherry

Chery came to us through a dear friend who saved her and rehab her for 5 weeks. We beleive a shetland/mini cross mare approximately 20-22 years old. A sweet little girl who needed to be loved. Cherry's job is to be a companion for our special needs gelding Champ 9Appaloosa gelding with minimal vision.

Be watching here for updates on Cherry as she continues her rehab with us....

MSA Sweet Melody

Melody is a 6 year old (2011) black miniature mare. 35 inches tall. Broke to saddle and harness. She came to us with foal at side named Merlin who has since been adopted.

Melody will be seen on site for pony rides during open house events and driving under harness for rides around the farm.  Melody is sweet tempered and loves attention and small children. A great addition to the farm ( owned by Gisele)

MSA Mr Dibbs  AKA Dibbs

Mr Dibbs is a blue roan paint pony who came to Gisele Gariepy Owner and Founder of MSA in 2017. His is 11 hands tall and is broke to saddle and loves children. Mr Dibbs arrived with his pasture mate  Gaby. They have been together on and off for a few years. Mr Dibbs is with our mini Cherry . Mr Dibbs came to us here as his owner was having financial difficulties taking care of them. Mr Dibbs makes his way into the heart of everyone at MSA Mr Dibbs has undergone a refresher and is now being shown by Grandson Logan and used for pony rides on open house days,.Welcome home Mr Dibbs. <3 Mr Dibbs is Happily a permanent resident and owned by my grandson Logan Richard.

2018  Dibbs was shown in a fun show for the first time.

Everyone meet Pete(Arabian) Pete is a flea bitten grey Arabian gelding 27 yrs old .Pete born June 21 /1990 .Pete at his last home was more of a pet. Prior to this he was used to trail ride in the local community. Pete does have an older injury to his right hind leg and is sound and has never taken a lame step. Pete has been ridden under saddle as of June 11/2017. Pete : Easy to work with in round pen. Very polite . Has started clicker training.. Has no spook and is very willing to please. Tacks up great today and is ridden walk trot by an intermediate and beginner rider and is amazing .. Pete also neck reins. Very light handed also.

Pete is being ridden on an off property and has earned our golden hearts and has become a permanent resident. His previous owners are very happy to be able to come visit him again. Pete will live out many years with us and certainly be a great addition.

Meet Wee Whiskey. A registered palomino colt with white blaze will be arriving soon to MSA. He was in a bad place and is going to be making his way to us

MSA Marco the goat..  AKA Marco

Marco is a pure boer and was 4th in all NS and champion in Colchester Marco is 2 yr old now ( born Jan 02-2015). Arrived  at Morning Star Acres He is very friendly and has been with horses and minis. He was bottle fed by Jo-Ann Lockhart-Livingstone .He is very well loved and is so very friendly. He loves and plain bread. Presently still growing. He is turned out with Cherry and Dibbs and Melody as he loves having company He has so much personality. In your pocket and loves ot be around people being pet. He certainly is settling in well .
